Randi Cooper Maples, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in private practice for almost twenty years. She offers compassionate care at KAB Medical Group Inc. in San Diego and Chula Vista , California.
Dr. Maples' educational background includes a Doctorate in Psychology, a Master's in Marital and Family Therapy, a certification in the treatment of Child and Adolescent Trauma, and a certification in the treatment of Combat Stress and PTSD.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Maples has worked as an adjunct professor at Ryokan College, a disability evaluator with the Veteran's Administration, a forensic evaluator with the Department of Homeland Security, and was a staff psychologist on special assignment at Southwestern College. There, she developed a transitional program for veterans, which would become known as the Warrior-Scholar Program. This outreach program is currently on college campuses throughout the United States.
Dr. Maples is a dedicated professional who tailors treatments to the needs of the individual. In her personal life, she is married and has five children. She enjoys being with her family, going out on her boat, skiing, and traveling.
